Loaves and Fishes Christmas Food Drive

St. Pau's will again be sponsoring a food drive in December for our local food bank.  Loaves and Fishes.  You are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable items such as rice, beans, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce and noodles, etc. and put in the tubs provided in the overflow area.  The items will be delivered to Loaves and Fishes on December 18th.  Thank you for helping us to reach out to those in our county that are less fortunate than we are and that struggle to put food on their tables especially during the holiday season.  May God bless you for being generous!

Mission for the Quarter

The mission for the quarter will help the members of The Living Word church in Houston, Texas.  This is the home church of Kimberly Rogers who is the daughter of Jean Holtzman Ruland.  In talking with them about the flood and how we might help, they told us that the families of this church were in need of many things and one need was to help proivide supplies and items for the boys and girls.  The Sunday School is asking that you pray for these families and be a part of our mission.  Remember that 4th and 5th Sundays are mission Sundays.

Prayer Time

Trudging through the week?  Work and anxiety piling sky high?  Take it to the Lord in prayer!  Join us for a short order of prayer Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m.  Come casual.

Mite Sunday

The first Sunday in each month is designated as mite Sunday.  Mite box contributions amount to millions of dollars that support District and International projects.  The LWML has placed mite boxes in the back of the church and it is our prayer that the congregation will join us as we give our mites so that the Gospel can be shared with the whole world.

Inkjet Cartridges Recycling

Inkjet cartridges recycling continues.  The basket for empties is located in the church office.

Help Wanted

Altar Care

There is a real need for people to step up with altar care.  It is not that hard to do and does not take that much time.  If you would like to help but do not know what to do, Charlotte Stepusin, Ann Kilian, or Ruby Seaman would be happy to help you learn.
